Conservation Collaborations

I love finding ways to use my creativity to encourage conservation efforts, research, and education.

Wether you’re an independent researcher, a museum or a smaller non-profit, I’d love to work with your organization! After spending time volunteering in wildlife rehab, I know the importance of fundraising efforts, and sometimes that’s not an easy feat. I’m happy to work under restricted budgets and grants to make your ideas come to life.

Donated Drawings & Merchandise - are available on a case by case basis. Please feel free to enquire to learn more about possible options.

Custom Work - may be available at a reduced rate or pro-bono for your organization. If I can’t donate new artwork, it’s possible to waive the licensing fee for pre-existing work.

Installing the mural at KidsPlay Children’s Museum, Torrington, CT

Kid’sPlay Museum

Mural on masonite panels, wall mural and additional elements painted on cut masonite panel, 2023

The KidsPlay Museum in Torrington, Connecticut commissioned me to create a number of elements for their ‘Tree House’ exhibit, which focuses on New England forests and wildlife. The project included a 8 x 16’ mural, along with another mural that emulated a nest as a reading nook in part of the exhibit, and additional painted birds that were cut from masonite panels and hung in the ‘sky’ of the exhibit.

Coloring pages for Conservation

During the Covid-19 pandemic, I created a series of coloring pages based around local New England species. My hope we to give kids locked in their homes, a small reminder of what an amazing world was right outside their doorstep. I gave these pages away for free over two years and had hundreds of downloads.

These pages are now available to purchase in my online store, and 50% of the proceeds go back to different local conservation organizations.

Spreading the love of nature through product design

I am happy to work directly with small businesses and with design firms coordinating projects for larger clients.

I can offer illustration styles and formats that are suitable for digital campaigns, offset and digital printing, and screen-printing on apparel. Please reach out for more details about specific turn around times and project rates.

Some products I’ve developed for companies include: stickers, postcards, personalized maps, t-shirts, logos, and notecards.

White Memorial Conservation Center

I currently work with White Memorial to create stickers and other smaller products for their gift shop. Currently available are their ambassador birds Shakespeare & Ophelia, and their inaugural Bats Count 2023 sticker.

Audubon Sharon

To celebrate the opening of their pollinator garden, I worked with Audubon Sharon to create a t-shirt design to commemorate the event in honor of the monarch butterfly.

White Flower Farm

I created a promotional mailer for their past customers who had not ordered in the last calendar year.

Since I started my business back in 2017, my favorite part has always been working one on one with clients to create drawings and pieces of art that help celebrate a special occasion. It is such a joy to see the happiness my work can bring people.

I offer a variety of options for people looking for a memorable gift. From pet portraits, wedding invitations, custom paintings, small custom drawings, and wedding wreaths, anything you can imagine I would love to bring to life. I am happy to accommodate special requests but also offer standard pricing for projects that need a quick turn-around.

Please feel free to email me with questions about a project you have in mind. I can only take on a few commissions at a time, so it’s always best to book your project early.

As a reminder, the holidays are my busiest time of year so please be patient if I don’t get back to you right away.

Click here to place a pet portrait order - colored pencil portraits start at $180 for one pet, and I offer a variety of sizes. Custom sizes and combinations of pets can be offered but require a custom quote.

Click here to order a wedding wreath - wedding wreaths need to be placed as a custom order as I work closely with my customers to make sure the happy couple get exactly what they want. I can work in a variety of sizes or to fit a frame you already have on hand. I work from photos of bridal bouquets or can create something to commemorate the season of the wedding

Book cover illustrations and spot illustration projects require a minimum of four weeks. Editorial illustrations can usually be completed within one week. Please email me to inquire.

Télérama Magazine

Art Director: Emmanuel Ferrari

A selection of my bird alphabet letters were used in the August 2, 2023 edition of Télérama Magazine, a French culture magazine. The drop cap letters served as the start of numerous articles throughout the issue that focused on birds.

Luna Creative

Art Director: Cordelia Norris

It’s been an incredible experience to be part of the Coloring Wonder series of coloring books, arranged by Luna Creative. Three books have been published so far including, Hatchlings: A Coloring Anthology, Along the Atlantic, and Backyard Pollinators: A Partnership with Plants. I had the pleasure of creating the cover for both Hatchlings and Backyard Pollinators, as well as interior illustrations for all three books.

Tantor media

Since I started working with Tantor media in 2018, a division of Audible, I’ve create hundreds of audiobook covers that can be found across Tantor.com and Amazon.com. They combine use of stock imagery and my own illustration, as well as type and graphic design.
