Amanda is originally from Harwinton, Connecticut and has a BFA in Illustration from the Savannah College of Art and Design, with a minor in scientific illustration.  She is fascinated by the natural world, the beautiful and the unknown. Art has been a part of her life ever since she was young and her love for it will never change and never stop growing.

Her artwork, scientific and illustrative, is a combination of many things, but what she finds most rewarding with my work is being able to share the overlooked parts of nature and bring attention to them in a beautiful and unusual way. Her objective as an artist is to create a cohesive body of work that focuses on the significance and importance of the natural world.

She has been featured in publications such as the Port City Review, GIC Anthology 2016 and 2017.
